Vision

The vision of the company is to become the dominant manufacturer of home textiles and typical garments in Sri Lanka by the year 2030. This means that the company aspires to be the leader in the production of quality home textiles and typical local garments that cater to the needs and preferences of Sri Lankan consumers.

Mission

To achieve this vision, the company should need to invest in the latest technologies and equipment to improve their production weaving processes, as well as establishing strong partnerships with international suppliers to ensure a steady supply of quality raw materials. Also focusing on continuous improvement of our products and services to stay ahead of the competition and develop effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.

1985

Start of JCT Fabrics

The startup of a hardworking and determined enterprise started small in the year of 1985 with 10 handloom machines. With dedication, patience, and sacrifice, AF Weaving Industries laid out a plan to expand their first group member located in Elpitiya. Starting as a small-scale factory, they took up the name of JCT Fabrics, not knowing that they were about to make history.

Jayasiri Trade Center began

Jayasiri Trade Center began as a sole proprietorship with the aim of pushing sales of their own handloom textile products through their first wholesale and retail store located in 2nd Cross Street, Colombo 11. From 1990 to the present day,

1995

new factory in gonapala

JCT Fabrics was able to expand their production by opening another factory in 1995, located in Gonapola. This new factory was equipped with 10 power loom machines for textile weaving, which allowed JCT Fabrics to increase their production capacity and meet the growing demand for their products.

2002

new factory in govinna

JCT Fabrics went on to establish a new factory in Govinna. This new factory was equipped with 36 power loom machines and 12 rapier loom machines, further expanding JCT Fabrics' production capacity.

2017

Opening of kottawa showroom

the business group expanded their trading platform by opening a showroom in Kottawa named as AF Handlooms. This move allowed JCT Fabrics to expand their reach and offer their products to a wider range of customers. The AF Handlooms showroom quickly became popular among retail customers, driving more business to the company.

2019

opening of watareka showroom

With the success of the AF Handlooms showroom in Kottawa, the conglomerate continued to expand their trading operations, opening another showroom in 2019 in Watareka. This new showroom was designed to cater specifically to wholesale customers, providing them with a convenient and attractive place to view and purchase JCT Fabrics' products.
